Weather: Damp and rainy, outside temp around 60*; inside temp around 70*
History: I grew up in the area, and have heard several stories about haunting activity in the firehouse.

Report: We started at 8pm; we entered the banquet hall and as we were unpacking our equipment Lew was looking around the hall with his night vision lens and saw an orb up in the corner near a balcony. I went up there and set up my tape recorder; I put on my night vision goggles, but did not see anything unusual. I followed a small hallway that led from the balcony to a game room; I had no unusual feelings so I moved on into another room off the game room that had several long tables and a bar in the corner. Lew, Kenny, and Bob were in there. I sat down with them for a few minutes, and had a feeling that there was someone else there with us. I saw nothing with the night vision. Kenny and Bob left, and as Lew and I prepared to leave we heard movement from behind the bar. We saw nothing, and moved to the door. Lew took a step back from the door because the door knob was jiggling like someone was trying to open it; it stopped and Lew immediately opened it. There was no one on the other side.
I went back downstairs, and into the kitchen. Again I had the feeling that I was not alone. I was looking out of a window, and I saw a reflection in the glass of a man in old clothing standing behind me on the other side of the room near a refrigerator. I turned around, but he was gone.
I went out into the banquet hall where Lew had set up a strobe light to see if we would see any orbs as it flashed. Lew thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye, so Bob took a picture. We then ended our investigation, and thanked our hosts.
Impression: There is definitely haunting activity here; I had been told that there was a family burial plot under the firehouse; it's possible that could contribute to the activity we experienced.
