SUN GLARE |
|
The above photo was taken by PGHA member Bob R. during
our overnight stay at Fort Mifflin on 9/18/98. There is nothing paranormal
about this photo. It is a good example of sun glare on the camera lens. Although
you don't see the sun directly, we were able to determine that the sun was
the culprit for an unusual combination of reasons. For one, the photo was
taken around 6:00pm. Additionally, judging from the direction of the photo,
it was determined that Bob was facing in a westerly direction. The combination
of, the time of day the photo was taken, the time the sun sets that time
of year (roughly 7:30pm), the fact that the sun sets in the west, and
the westerly direction the photo was taken in, inclines us to believe
that the sun, which is setting beyond, created this reflective artifact within
the camera.
