Lew and myself had been sitting downstairs listening to the radio in the dark one night when we saw the figure of a man standing behind the curtain in the living room. We know that we saw this because the streetlight from outside had outlined his body made it possible for us to see that he was there.
We had become so frightened at this point because we thought it was an intruder. Lew quickly got up to investigate, ready to combat with the stranger, only to find that he had just vanished upon looking. Even still we checked out the whole house and found nothing. We were the only ones in the house.
That was the first and only time we saw the male ghost. We have had many strange things happen in that house. Even other family members as well as our friends have had the pleasure of experiencing the ghost. Myself, Lew, my sister and a close friend of mine have seen and heard some of the strange goings on in that house.
Some of these things include: doors opening and shutting, TV going off and on by itself, whistling, whispering, names being called, objects moving from one place to another and finally actually seeing the ghost. My sister stopped going over there after her experience with the TV and door. She's too scared.
My in-laws still live there. Lew and myself have since got married and have a place of our own. We still believe that the woman ghost is there. I should mention that the woman that lived there before my in-laws choked to death and died in the house. Could this be her? We still find it strange that this ghost looks so much like my mother in-law.
The children of the woman that died there did stop by the house one day to see what it looked like after all these years. Maybe we should have asked to see a picture of their mother. Maybe then our questions of who the ghost is would be answered. Then again --- maybe not!
