Date: October 28th,1998
Time: Started at approximately 8:00pm and ended around 10:15pm
Location: Trevose Firehouse/Twinning Hall in Trevose, Pa.
Equipment: 35mm camera (strap removed) loaded with Kodak Gold 400 speed film. EMF meter.
Weather: Although the weather wasnt really much of a factor since the investigation was held indoors, I will note that it was a partly cloudy night with mild drizzle throughout the night. There was a moderate breeze. The temperature inside the fire house was around 71 degrees Fahrenheit.
History: I have not heard the history yet in order not to sway my instincts and expectations for the investigation.
Those Present: Rachel G., Lew and Sharon G., Andy K., Bob and Eileen R., Danny and Nancy, Jen , Joanie S.,Kenny and Donna B., As well as a few of the firefighters.
Report: Upon entering the fire house I had gotten no real impressions of the place. A few of our members however felt some presence of some sort right away as we entered the Twinning Hall. (Nancy and Jen). As I was loading my camera I heard someone mention that they had already seen an orb through their night vision scope. I proceeded to walk around downstairs and take some photos. I then went onto the balcony where a few members claimed to have felt cold spots and I believe someone had said that they had seen a dark figure up in that area at some point. I proceed to check out the rooms upstairs. I did pick up emf readings in the game room, however I believe it was a power source of some kind giving off the readings.
Kenny had stated at one point that he had seen a dark figure down the one hallway behind the bathrooms downstairs. A motion detector was placed there after that by Joanie, I do not believe that it ever did go off. I took several pictures in hopes of capturing something but never did get a true sense that there were any anomalies in the building. Lew stated towards the end of the evening as we were experimenting with a strobe light, that he felt as if someone was watching him to his right in the kitchen area. He then asked Bob R. to take some pics in that direction. Lew said he could see a figure in the doorway with his peripheral vision however did not turn around for fear the figure would vanish. I guess we will see what Bobs film shows.
The only time I myself felt anything at all this night was when several of the members were sitting along the balcony. Nancy and I both felt as if we were sitting in a cold spot (no one up there had a thermal scanner out to get a reading) but I did take some pictures. We then wrapped up the night around 10:15.
Impression: Although I do believe that their is a possible haunting at the Trevose Fire House, I myself did not get no clear impressions or readings on this night.
Other members seem to have picked up on some anomalies through there night vision and with there own feelings, therefore I would have to believe that ghosts do exist in the building. Hopefully I will get something on film. Possibly another investigation in the future may be warranted because I do feel the more often we frequent a place, the better results we have been getting.
