Purpose for Joining: Always had a fascination with ghostly phenomenon and thought by joining this group I hopefully find some evidence that ghosts do exist.

Beyond that, I have heard whistling in a friends house clear as can be. When I looked for my other friend in the house, I discovered her in the bathroom with a mouthful of toothpaste so it obviously wasn’t her! This particular house has had many other experienced by Sharon and Lew.
In my parents home one night my father said he had heard someone downstairs around 2am. Thinking it was me he called down. Someone answered him back in a female voice saying “It’s only me.” My father then came downstairs to discover noone was there! And at this point, I was asleep. I have had many unexplained things happen in my parents home. Most of them occurring in October/November such as things disappearing, doors opening on there own, a painting on my dinning room wall swaying back and forth, and my table in my kitchen had its legs collapse precisely while I was on the phone with my sister telling her to come home because I didn’t want to be alone in the house because I felt something was there with me. Once, I even smelled the strangest odor in my parents home while I was sitting there alone. I know it sounds crazy, but It just smelled to me like death but it didn’t scare me. Just found it odd. I became accustomed to the occurrences and eventually started to look forward to that time of year to see what might happen this time.The last occurrence that I am aware of happening in my home was this.
My mother called me to tell me that the ghost had struck again. Here, my father likes to hang out in the basement and watch TV. When my mom wants to get his attention, instead of calling down the cellar ( because he cannot hear her when the TV is on and the wash is running) she flicks the light on and off several times. The one day my mom and a friend of my brothers were sitting in the kitchen. They then heard my father hollering from the basement. My mom went to the basement door to see what was his problem and he proceed to ask her what she wanted because the light was going on and off like my mom was calling him and left it off leaving him down there in the dark. The light switch was down and needless to say my mother had not done it!
