Weather: Outside temperature was around 60*; light drizzle; inside temperature around 70*
History: I did not know that the Trevose fire house was haunted.
Those Present: Jen J., Lew & Sharon G., Bob & Ilene R., Ken & Donna B., Danny and Nancy, Rachel G., Joani S., and Andy K.
Report: The investigation started at 8pm, and met Joe, the host, outside. Immediately upon entering the catering hall Nancy and I felt chills. Nancy and I looked at each other and knew that we were both feeling the same thing. A moment later Lew said he saw an orb up near the balcony with his night vision. Then Nancy and I headed up the steps to the balcony.
When we reached the balcony we found two large carpeted steps, which we tripped over. As we were there, we felt more chills. I set up my tape recorder here, and Danny and Nancy did the same.
We then went through a side door and entered the hallway that ran behind the balcony. I had no feelings at this time, but later in the evening I thought I saw a shadow moving down that hall - there was no one there when we went to look.
While we were standing in the hall by the doorway out to the balcony Nancy thought she heard movement like paper rustling at the end of the hall that led to the game room. She asked Lew to check it out, but as I recall he did not see anything with his night vision. Nancy and I followed the hallway and went into the game room, and we picked up some readings on our EMF detector. One of the women who was with us told us that there were some sort of power lines within the floor.
Off of the game room, there was another room with a bar in the corner and several tables. Nancy and I felt chills in one corner of this room and we took many pictures. Nancy needed to rest, so we sat at one of the tables for ten to fifteen minutes.
Rachael and Sharon came in and were by the doorway. Nancy was facing them and she saw a shadow out in the game room behind the couch. Nancy said that it moved quickly to the left. Sharon went to check if there was anyone out there, but there wasn't. She then took a few photographs of the room.
Nancy and I went back out to the balcony. As we headed towards the balcony, I saw a shadow moving towards the back of the hallway. We sat on the balcony for about ten minutes. Lew and Joani had spotted something in the night vision on the balcony. I therefore took about ten pictures of this area. I did get a few orbs in the photos.
We then went downstairs to the kitchen and hallway. Kenny said he had seen the figure of a man in the hall. We headed down there to take pictures. Nancy and I again picked up readings on our EMF detectors, but again there seemed to be some sort of power source in the wall. In the kitchen I had no unusual feelings.
Back in the main hall Lew had set up a strobe light to see if we could see any orbs. We did not see anything so we then gathered our equipment and ended the investigation.
Impression: I believe that there was some sort of activity here, and I would like to investigate this location again.
