A few chosen people in our society possess the uncanny
ability to constantly get their fingers in the way of the lens. You know
who you are (LOL)! This image was taken with the sole purpose to show what
a finger looks like on film. Be aware of where you place your hands on the
camera. Newer cameras come with finger grips for a purpose. If you have this
problem with your digits, buy a camera with grips or a protruding lens. The
answer to your problem may lie there.
One thing to point out about the image itself is that a finger will usually show flesh tones along the border of the object in the way. This image serves as a good example of those flesh tones.
