Date: October 28th, 1998
Time: The Investigation began around 8:00 P.M., but I had to leave at 9:00 P.M.
Location: Trevose Firehouse and Twinning Hall, Trevose, PA
Equipment: Canon Sure Shot 60zoom 38 mm camera, Night Owl Cyclops Compact Nightvision scope
Weather: The weather outside was rainy. Inside it was approximately 70 degrees F.
History: I knew nothing about the specific history of the building at the time of the investigation, but was familar with some rumors that it was haunted since it is located in the area where I grew up.
Those Present: Andy K., Rachel G., Sharon & Lew G., Joani S., Danny & Nancy S., Jen J., Bob & Ilene R., and Kenny & Donna B.
Report: We were brought into the firehouse and then into a large room that is used for catered events. The lights were off and I began to unpack my equipment from my bag. While I was unpacking, Lew G. stated that he had just seen an orb with his nightvision.
I got out my nightvision and proceeded to sit by myself against one of the walls. I did not observe anything with my nightvision. Soon I was joined by Joani S. who told me she had spotted an orb above my head. As I continued to look through my nightvision, she snapped a couple of pictures. She spotted orbs in her flash, but I could not find them through the nightvision.
We then proceeded to go upstairs. I did a quick examination and then went out to the balcony. I still had not witnessed anything, nor did I sense anything.
After the lights were turned on briefly, Rachel G. and I went back upstairs and explored the rooms up there. We were soon joined by other members of the group. We waited in the rooms for a short while and still I felt and saw nothing.
At this point, it was time for me to leave.
Impressions: I did not get any impressions from the building and I did not see anything to indicate that there were spirits there. This obviously does not mean that the location is not haunted since others got results. Part of the problem may have been my attitude on the evening in question. I came to the investigation with work on my mind and that may had made it difficult for me to get any good impressions.
